Apply for the ISCC Health and Safety Grant
ISCC Health and Safety Grant: All Members are now encouraged to submit an application for the Health & Safety Grant Program for the 2025 grant round. ISCC’s Grant Program annually ranges from 8-10 individual grants with a maximum award of $5,000. The subject matter of grant requests can be very broad, but the overall emphasis should focus on the health and safety of your employees. Requests that are part of a capital project will be considered if the applicant can clearly demonstrate the added value of the safety feature requested. ISCC will not reimburse staff time or compensation as part of a grant award, nor will ISCC reimburse for previously made expenditures. To qualify for a grant, each grant recipient must document participation in the ISCC Annual Meeting, or any of the FutureComp or NEEIA sponsored webinars offered virtually throughout the year. See ISCC’s Video Library for testimonials and additional information. View Resources Here

POPE Program for High-Risk Positions
ISCC offers free Post Offer Pre-Employment exams for designated high-risk jobs. We have noted that employees in some jobs may not have been physically capable of handling the job tasks in the positions they were employed. This discrepancy has at times led to injury. We feel that it is important enough to take some positive action to counter this issue, thus this initiative. View Resources Here
Return-to-Work Programs That Support Recovery
Modified duty programs serve as bridges that keep injured workers connected to their professional communities while their bodies heal. Think of these programs as carefully constructed pathways that allow employees to contribute meaningfully to institutional operations while avoiding activities that might aggravate injuries or delay recovery. When designed thoughtfully, everyone benefits: injured workers maintain their sense of purpose and income stability, colleagues receive valuable assistance, and institutions control workers compensation costs while retaining experienced staff.
